Louis van Gaal can’t get enough of his Dutch wonderkids, and he’s signed another one to his ranks with by handing a deal to Timothy Fosu-Mensah.

The 16-year-old defender, who joined Man United from Af AFC Ajax in 2014 and has since played in the youth team, is expected to continue to develop as a member of the Under-21 squad in the near future.
Fosu-Mensah is well regarded for his ability to transition well between defence and the midfield when the situation calls for it.
Unfortunately, Fosu-Mensah’s only goal in the 2015 UEFA European Under-17 Championship came as an own goal against England that resulted in a draw – which later led to the Netherlands’ elimination from the tournament.
Fosu-Mensah captained the Dutch Under-17 side in that tournament.
