Games between the two teams have continued to threaten to boil over this season, while Green was infamously bumped by Dahntay Jones during an interview last month which created a war of words between the pair.
In turn, that led to an exchange between the Warriors forward and Clippers coach Doc Rivers, and Green has revealed exactly how he feels about their Western Conference rivals.
“They have a cocky arrogance, like they’ve won something, and they haven’t done nothing,” Green said, according to Grantland.com.
“They pretty much been to the same spot in the playoffs we’ve been to. But they have this cockiness like you’re supposed to bow down to them. They ain’t proved nothing. They ain’t earned nothing. What respect have you earned?”
While Green’s points are fair to an extent, it will only add to the tension between the two teams and if they do end up crossing paths in the playoffs, it promises to be a fiery clash that could threaten to boil over.
That could end up being a negative thing for the league, but it is certainly considered a good thing by many ex-players and experts who have been crying out for there to be more rivalries in the league like back in their day.
Green has been one of the most improved players in the league, and he will hope to have a positive influence in the post-season which helps coach Steve Kerr to a championship in his first season in the league on the bench.
