Paea registered a career-high six sacks in his final season with the Bears, and he will help beef up a Redskins defensive line that needs to improve its pass rush.
The Redskins tied for 21st in sacks with 36 last season, but the addition of Paea should take pressure off of defensive end Jason Hatcher.
Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reported on Paea signing with the Redskins on Twitter.
