Arsenal are hungry for a defensive midfielder and Grzegorz Krychowiak could be just the man to satisfy them.
With Sevilla midfielder Grzegorz Krychowiak poised to make a move to Emirates Stadium before the transfer window closes, some of his teammates are worried that they’ll miss him.
According to the Metro, Sevilla midfielder Vicente Iborra admitted that he’s concerned that the La Liga giants will be without one of their biggest stars when September rolls around. Arsenal have reportedly been weighing up a transfer move for the Polish star with a €30 million release clause in his contract.
“Of course I’m concerned that Krychowiak could be taken away,” Iborra said. “I always want to have the best players in the team. He brings so much so I hope he stays.
“I understand Sevilla’s position, it is clear. I hope nobody pays the clause and he stays with us.”
Grzegorz Krychowiak was named to the 2014-15 La Liga team of the season after Sevilla finished 5th on the La Liga table and secured a spot in the 2015-16 Champions League group stage.
