Chelsea star Eden Hazard has shown why he is considered to be one of the world’s top players after scoring a stunning goal against Barcelona in the International Champions Cup.
Blues boss Jose Mourinho caused a major stir this week after claiming the Belgian had a better season than Cristiano Ronaldo last term, but the former Lille man certainly backed up the Portuguese manager in Washington on Wednesday.
Hazard weaved his way through the Barcelona defence and coolly finished past Andre ter Stegen, leaving the capacity crowd at the FedEx Field in raptures.
The Belgian international was named the PFA’s Footballer of the Year after his 14 goals helped the Blues to its fourth Premier League title.
He has been tipped to have another massive season and even push Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo for the Ballon d’Or.
