Player ratings from England’s 1-0 win over Denmark at Wembley.
Joe Hart: 7/10

A fairly quiet night for the England number one but he looked assured throughout and made a fine sprawling stop when called upon. Only injury will prevent Hart starting against Italy in Manaus.
Glen Johnson: 6/10
The Liverpool full back looked a little rusty on his 50th cap, perhaps unsurprising given his recent absence through injury.
Gary Cahill: 7/10
An assured performance from the Chelsea man, who is comfortable at his level and will start the World Cup alongside Phil Jagielka barring injury.
Chris Smalling: 6/10
Like Cahill, Smalling was solid and had little to do on the night. He won’t have done his World Cup chances any harm.
Ashley Cole: 6/10
A rare start for the Chelsea star who has been sidelined at Stamford Bridge. Cole was solid but, worryingly, Luke Shaw was arguably more impressive after his second half introduction.
