The Liverpool campaign dictated the play (until he tired slightly late on) and was majestic in his passing as usual. Even at 33, he was one of the best players on the pitch.

Jordan Henderson: 6/10

Henderson has been brilliant at club level but he went missing too often here. When he was involved, he was tidy and creative in possession.

Jack Wilshere: 6/10

The Arsenal man was clattered in a strong challenge by Agger early on and wasn’t at his best thereafter.
