Despite England’s 5-0 humbling at the hands of Australia, KP is going nowhere soon…
England cricket star Kevin Pietersen has dismissed rumours that he could retire following his country’s Ashes nightmare.
Australia regained the urn following a 5-0 whitewash, with pundits and fans alike calling for a wholesale revamp of the England side.
Pietersen was England’s highest run scorer of the series with 294, but still averaged under 30, which considerably less than his 47.28 career average.
The 33-year-old has admitted the series went terribly, but has vowed to come back stronger than ever to regain the Ashes in 2015, when Australia return to English soil.
Very disappointed to lose 5-0, and not to score more runs personally. Tough tour against a top class team. #Ashes

I want to thank all the England fans for their terrific support. And I’m determined to help regain the Ashes in 2015.
