Hodgson has made some controversial picks with his squad, though, having decided to bring in the likes of Michael Carrick and Theo Walcott, despite the fact that both have only just returned from long term injuries.
Liverpool striker Rickie Lambert also makes the cut, even though he has been terribly out of form and has yet to find the net this season.
There is, however, a first call up for West Brom striker Saido Berahino.
