CB Gary Cahill – 6 – Essentially the same as Jagielka other than getting a goal – Cahill will have far trickier tests than this.
LB Kieran Gibbs – 6 – Offered more going forward than Chambers did on the other side but perhaps will be disappointed that he didn’t do more against such a poor side.
DCM James Milner – 5 – Hodgson decided to give Milner a chance at the base of the midfield diamond, but his passing was clunky despite some fine set piece delivery.
