AMR) Raheem Sterling
The lightning fast winger is way outperforming Andros Townsend right now, and definitely deserves his chance to start. He’s only won one cap so far, but oozes so much talent he will undoubtedly win plenty more.
AML) Adam Lallana
If Hodgson’s going to pick players on form, he can’t look any further than Lallana. The midfielder can come inside from the left, and his passing and link up play is excellent. If Leighton Baines bombs past him down the left, this Lallana could work well in this position.
FC) Daniel Sturridge
Sturridge is the form striker in England right now, bagging 18 league goals in just 17 starts, and proving himself to be a player of genuine European pedigree, and someone who could eventually prove himself to be world-class. Expect him to have an interesting battle with club teammate Daniel Agger, with Rooney available on the bench.
