The much-maligned 30-year-old was dismissed after just six deliveries after being trapped LBW by Ryan Sidebottom in the third over of the four-day match, according to SportingLife.
The batsman was axed as skipper of England’s one-day side in the months leading up to the World Cup, with the Essex man saying England’s poor showing proved selectors were wrong to replace him with Eoin Morgan.
Cook has retained his role as Test captain however and will lead England in its opening Test against the West Indies on April 6.
