23. Saido Berahino
West Bromwich Albion forward Saido Berahino is the final fanatix leftfield choice for Roy Hodgson’s 23 man squad.
The youngster only turned 20 after the season’s opening fixture, but has demonstrated his considerable talent in the subsequent matches.
Breaking into Steve Clark’s side after three matches of the current season, Berahino hasn’t looked back, scoring the winning goal against Manchester United in a Premier League clash at Old Trafford before a fine strike against Arsenal in the Capital One Cup.
A brace against Lithuania for England Under-21s quickly followed, and at his current rate of improvement it is far from difficult to envisage Berahino forcing his way into the senior national side.
Berahino also offers a more inspiring plan B than a static target man such as Andy Carroll, and his pace and movement already suggest there is a real talent in the wings.
