Arsenal star thinks Chelsea have already won the Premier League title
The England international has played a bit part role for the Reds this season, making just 17 appearances in the Premier League so far, and with his contract up in a matter of weeks it is looking more and more likely that he will be looking for a new club.
Johnson, now 30, is said to be of interest to former club West Ham, though links since then have prompted the likes of Barcelona to reportedly take a close interest in his developments.
And the England international has now admitted that he could very well be heading away from Anfield as contract negotiations now seem to have frozen completely.
“Am I leaving Liverpool? I would have thought so – I haven’t got a contract,” he said.
“We’ll have to wait and see.”
Johnson joined Liverpool in 2009 from Portsmouth, and has since gone on to make 198 appearances for the club, scoring nine goals.
