The England legend finally joins the social networking site…
Paul Gascoigne, arguably England’s greatest player during the 1990s, has joined Twitter.
The legendary midfielder scored one of England’s most famous goals during Euro 1996 against Scotland, where England painfully lost in the semi-finals to Germany on a penalty shoot-out.
Gascoigne has struggled badly with his alcoholism for countless years, and told his 100,000 followers he is looking forward to letting his fans know ‘the real him’.
Can’t believe all of the nice messages. Thanks so much! Love Gazza 🙂 x http://t.co/IAveeqkfAm
