England would have already been the favourites to beat Italy at Twickenham Stadium in this clash, but after winning their opener against Wales they are now being tipped to win the Six Nations.
Despite Stuart Lancaster’s men entering the tournament with a number of key injuries they battled against the odds at the Millennium Stadium last Friday to come from behind to beat the hosts.
Therefore the fact Lancaster has named an unchanged side to take on the Italians offers little surprise, although David Wilson has been added to their ever growing absentee list with a nerve problem.
There was some speculation that Brad Baritt would replace Billy Twelvetrees in the centre, but after his impressive cameo in Cardiff the latter will start.
Meanwhile Jacques Brunel is to make four changes for the trip to London, with Mauro Bergamasco and Giovanbattista Venditti coming in for Alessandro Zanni and Michele Campagnaro – who both suffered knee injuries in the loss to Ireland last weekend.
