England Under-21 manager Gareth Southgate has named his starting XI ahead of tonight’s Euro 2015 clash with Portugal.
As expected, Tottenham Hotspur goal-machine Harry Kane leads the attack for the Young Lions, supported by Manchester United’s Jesse Lingard, who is preferred to new Liverpool signing Danny Ings.
Arsenal right-back Carl Jenkinson plays at right-back, while Stoke City goalkeeper Jack Butland captains the side.
Chelsea loanee Nathaniel Chalobah operates in midfield, alongside Southampton’s James Ward-Prowse.
West Bromwich Albion striker Saido Berahino misses out through injury.
