The 2014 World Cup will be the last major tournament for a number of established stars – including Ashley Cole, Steven Gerrard and Frank Lampard – and therefore manager Roy Hodgson should be looking to the future.

GK – Joe Hart, Manchester City
The goalkeeper is still only 26-years-old and although the City man has had a tough campaign, if the Citizens stick by him the stopper should still be No.1 come 2016.
