David de Gea is probably fuming as his transfer to Real Madrid has stalled.
Earlier it was reported that Man United had reached an agreement with Real Madrid to send David de Gea in exchange for cash and Keylor Navas – but a poorly timed fax has put the deal on hold.
According to reports out of Spain uncovered by the Metro, the necessary paperwork for De Gea and Navas to make their respective moves did not go through in time to meet the La Liga transfer deadline – missing the Spanish deadline by one minute.
According to some reports here, it was United who were a bit tardy on getting their fax to the LFP.

As a result, David de Gea is stuck at Man United and will likely remain off the club until the next transfer window. With any luck, Real Madrid will still be willing to pay Man United the £26 million along with Navas.
Man United should also consider investing some cash in better fax machines and faster paper-pushers.
