Jose Mourinho might think Samuel Eto’o is on the verge of retirement, but the 32 – that’s 32 – year-old striker has rolled back the years to become Chelsea’s top scoring striker this season.

Admittedly, that task was made easier by Fernando Torres and Demba Ba being his rivals, but Eto’o has shown his predatory instincts have not dulled, and he remains as alert as ever in front of net.

Chelsea are expected to sign a big name striker this summer, which means Eto’o is likely to move on.
