Atsu set for loan move to Goodison Park.
Chelsea winger Christian Atsu finally looks set to complete his loan move to Everton after the two clubs agree a deal in principle, according to the Mirror.
Toffees manager Roberto Martinez has confirmed that a deal has been agreed for the 22-year-old and now all they are waiting on is a work permit to be granted.
The Spaniard was impressed by Atsu’s performances for his nation Ghana at the 2014 World Cup and the attacking midfielder also performed well during his temporary spell with Vitesse Arnhem last term.
The African signed for the Blues in 2013 for £3.5m from FC Porto, before being immediately sent out on-loan to Vitesse.
Martinez has already raided Stamford Bridge once this summer after signing striker Romelu Lukaku from West London for a club record £28m.
The 41-year-old’s opposite number Jose Mourinho is also a keen admirer of Atsu, but feels the Ghanaian would benefit more from a loan spell in the Premier League than staying at the Bridge.
