Ince has been linked with a move to the Premier League since last season, and the Blackpool starlet could finally make the step up before September 2nd.
Both Everton and Aston Villa are looking to sign Blackpool’s Tom Ince before the end of the summer transfer window, reports Sky Spots Radio.
Tom Ince has been linked with a number of Premier League clubs for a while now, and with the window closing in less than a week the young Englishman could finally make the step up.
Blackpool could hold out for a figure as high as £10m for Ince, who is currently recovering from a thigh injury.
Liverpool looked all set to bring Ince back to the club he spent his youth career at last January, but the deal fell through at the last minute as Ince decided to stay in Blackpool to be with his newborn child.
Ince enjoyed a breakout season for Blackpool in 2012-13, being selected to the PFA Championship Team of the Year and collecting the award for Football League Young Player of the Year.
Blackpool fans will argue that he was unlucky to not be selected as Championship Player of the Year too, as he lost out to Manchester United new-boy Wilfried Zaha. Ince’s record certainly spoke for itself, 14 goals and 18 assists in 44 league games one of the best contributions in the league.
With both Everton and Villa shy of wide-men, Tom’s father and manager Paul Ince needn’t worry about a lack of playing time being a problem should the player make the move, although he would certainly be reluctant to lose him following the sale of winger Matt Phillips to QPR a week ago.
