Duo linked with Ivorian star.
Everton and QPR are among the clubs interested in former Chelsea winger Soloman Kalou, who could leave Lille in January.
The Ligue 1 club beat a host of clubs, including QPR and Everton, to the Ivorian’s signature in the summer but the French outfit are ready to sell the 27-year-old after just six months, according to the Daily Mail.
Kalou has struggled for form in France, managing just 3 goals in 17 appearances for a Lille side languishing in 11th in the top-tier.
Both the Toffees and the R’s are ready to reignite their interest in Kalou in January, meaning the winger could be faced with a choice between a Premier League relegation battle or a push for the top four.
It is understood that Kalou’s hefty wage demands could deter both teams, although a loan deal remains a possibility.
Kalou spent six years in England with Chelsea, winning two Premier League titles and the Champions League, and making over 150 league appearances for the Blues.
