Toffees seek signing of another Blues forward.Everton’s search for a new striker could see them take Demba Ba on loan from Chelsea next season, according to the Daily Mail.
The Toffees look like losing out on a deal to sign Romelu Lukaku from the Blues after the young Belgian’s season-long stay at Goodison Park in 2013/14, with the youngster possibly heading to Atletico Madrid.
Ba is another top class attacking player currently being overlooked at Chelsea, having spent much of his time at the club as a substitute after signing from Newcaslte United back in 2012/13.
The Senegalese international became one of the most feared strikers in the Premier League during his time with the Magpies, and could benefit from a move away from Stamford Bridge now as he looks to revive his career.
Ba was also linked with a loan move to Arsenal late last summer, while Everton have also looked at the possibility of loaning current Gunners youngster Joel Campbell as another potential replacement for Lukaku, with the Costa Rica international impressing Roberto Martinez with his displays at this summer’s World Cup.
