According to the Daily Mail, Roberto Martinez will have to beat off competition from Southampton, Crystal Palace, and Newcastle for the forward, who has had an incredibly productive first season in the top flight.
The 25-year-old has scored 17 times – rather shockingly, 45% of his team’s total of 38 so far – and has only Harry Kane ahead of him as the top English goalscorer.
