Brendan Rodgers’ Liverpool side travel across the city to take on bitter rivals Everton, in the first Merseyside derby of the season on Saturday lunchtime.
The Reds could go top for a while at least if they pick up the three points, while current league leaders Arsenal could leapfrog them again if they win at home to Southampton in their 3 o’clock kick-off.
Liverpool are without Jose Enrique, while Daniel Sturridge will face a late fitness test in order to start.
Everton boss Roberto Martinez has no new injury concerns, but is unlikely to start with either Tony Hibbert or Antolin Alcaraz who are available again once more.
