Belgium international is desperate to play in the Champions League.
In-demand Everton midfield player Marouane Fellaini has admitted that he would love to join the European champions Chelsea at the end of the season, however, the giant Belgium has also said that he is happy where he is on Merseyside at present.
It is an open secret in Planet Football that the Wes Londoners have been keeping close tabs on the 25-year-old, who joined the Toffees from Standard Liege for £20 million.
However, as yet no offers have been forthcoming from the Blues, meaning that the Belgium international has remained content to stay at Goodison Park and bide his time.
One thing that does attract the player to a summer move to Stamford Bridge though is the opportunity that it would give Fellaini to take part in the Champions League.
“Am I interested in Chelsea? It’s normal, right? I’ve never played in the Champions League!” Fellaini says in the Sunday Mirror.
“I’m happy here, I know everyone, I get along with my team-mates. It’s my home. On the other hand, I also want to take the next step. Fate will decide.
“Everton paid £20million and do not want to sell me for nothing.
“If a big club wants me, they will have to pay the price.”
