Paris Saint-Germain may be on the outs with Ezequiel Lavezzi now that Angel Di Maria is playing well.
Arsenal have come under heavy criticism for their summer transfer moves, but they may have a shot at a big name out of Ligue 1: Ezequiel Lavezzi.
According to the Metro, the 30-year-old Lavezzi has asked for a transfer out of Paris Saint-Germain following the emergence of Angel Di Maria. Lavezzi’s future at PSG has been in question ever since Di Maria arrived on a transfer out of Man United.
The Metro reported that Arsenal were keen on signing Lavezzi this summer but nothing materialized. But after Di Maria’s stellar debut with the club last week, PSG are now reportedly ready to listen to offers.
Arsenal may face competition in the next transfer window however, with Valencia, Inter Milan and Manchester United believed to be interested 100-goal scoring winger.
Ezequiel Lavezzi has scored 20 goals in three seasons with PSG since signing on a €30 million transfer out of Napoli in 2012, and has made 42 caps for the Argentinian national team. He has 15 caps and 2 goals with Argentina since 2014.
