Will the Tigers be able to keep the Gunners at bay…?
Steve Bruce’s underdogs Hull City travel to Wembley on Saturday evening to take on favourites Arsenal in this year’s FA Cup final.
The Gunners haven’t won anything for nine years and will be desperate to put that against an opponent they will see as very beatable.
Here’s four of the key battles that could be decisive in deciding which skipper will be lifting the trophy come full-time…
Mesut Ozil v Jake Livermore
Livermore, in the biggest match of his career by some distance, will be charged with stopping one of the world’s best playmakers from pulling the strings in Arsenal’s final third. Ozil has the ability to cut Hull to shreds if he has time and space in the final third, and it will Livermore’s job in Hull’s probable midfield three to restrict Ozil’s time on the ball. The Englishman will need to work tirelessly for 90 minutes in order to do this – and will be hoping his brilliant German opponent is having an off day.
