The 18-year-old is being billed as the next prodigy to come through the ranks at Old Trafford.
Fabio da Silva has tipped teenage star Adnan Januzaj to make a big impact for Manchester United this season after his progression into the senior setup.
The 18-year-old Belgian made an eye-catching Premier League debut in Saturday’s 2-0 win against Crystal Palace at Old Trafford, coming off the bench to replace Ashley Young in the 67th minute at Old Trafford.
“He is a top player,” Fabio told Sporting Life. “He is only young but he can dribble, he can shoot and he can cross. He is a clever boy.
“He will contribute a lot for Manchester United this season and in the future as well.”
However, Januzaj has been warned of the trials that lie ahead for all young players at Old Trafford by Fabio, who made his United debut at the same age in 2009, but the Brazilian is convinced the winger has the right temperament to cope with being thrust into the limelight.
“When you come through to the first-team it is very hard,” he added “The pressure is massive and he has a lot of things to think about.
“There are 70,000 people looking at him to see what he can do. But he has a good mentality for this type of thing. He can deal with it.”
