The Atlanta Falcons signed wide receiver Roddy White to a four-year contract extension that will run through 2018.
The Atlanta Falcons agreed to a four-year contract extension with Roddy White, and his new deal is worth up to $30 million with $18 million over the next two seasons.
This contract will expire in 2018, and White is 33 so he may spend his entire career with the Falcons. White signing his new contract was captured on the team’s official Instagram account.
This deal was done in time for training camp, and White will look to bounce back after an injury-filled 2013 season.
The four-time Pro Bowl receiver has been a model of consistency, having at least 1,000 receiving yards for six consecutive seasons while catching at least 100 balls twice.
He finished strongly last season after being derailed with two 100-yard receiving games and ultimately finished with 63 catches, 711 yards and three touchdowns.
With Julio Jones also returning healthy, the Falcons offense is primed to return to form.
