Barcelona could beat Premier League duo Arsenal and Liverpool to the signature of flying Colombian winger.
Premier League sides Arsenal and Liverpool are facing stiff competition from Spanish giants FC Barcelona for the signature of 26-year old Fiorentina winger Juan Cuadrado, according to the Daily Star.
The Colombian international can also play at right-back and is viewed by the Catalans as the long term replacement for Dani Alves.
Arsenal and Liverpool are also looking for versatile players who would give their squads more balance, and the hugely impressive Cuadrado fits their bill, being capable of playing anywhere from full back to wide forward.
The speedy and skillful winger is rated at around £20 million by Fiorentina, and one can expect an intense bidding war to ensue between the Champions League bound clubs for Cuadrado.
Barcelona’s new boss Luis Enrique wants to play Cuadrado at right-back, and it seem as though the Catalans are the most determined among the clubs interested to the land the Viola star.
Cuadrado has 27 national team caps for Colombia and could be one of the key players for the nation at the World Cup this month.
