Team USA and Sacramento Kings star DeMarcus Cousins was put on the spot on Monday, and the European reporter in question met his match after being shown up.
As the Americans prepare for their quarter-final clash with Slovenia at the FIBA World Cup 2014 on Tuesday night, Cousins’ Geography knowledge was put to the test, and fortunately, Brian Mahoney of The Associated Press was there to note the interaction between the pair.
The journalist asked Cousins if he knew where Slovenia was located on the map knowing that he probably didn’t, however, he also probably didn’t expect the response he received…

It’s a fair point from Cousins as although it is unlikely that he would have significant knowledge of where countries are located around the world, what could be perceived as ignorance is shared by others of the US states and such.
