Branchini tells Tuttosport Suarez “needs to understand appeal of Bianconeri”.
Liverpool striker Luis Suarez should join Juventus if he decides to leave Anfield at the end of the season, according to FIFA agent Giovanni Branchini.
Although not a representative of the Uruguay international, Branchini works closely with Suarez’s agent Pere Guardiola, brother of former Barcelona coach, Pep.
He believes that if the 26-year-old were to leave England this summer, then he should seriously contemplate the option of moving to Turin to join the Old Lady of Italian football.
“I am not Suarez’s agent, but I do collaborate with Guardiola’s brother. I can express a personal opinion on this situation,” Branchini told Tuttosport.
“He didn’t say he would certainly leave Liverpool, though, as his family is settled there.
“Do Juventus have what it takes to convince him? Certainly. If Suarez were to realise it is counter-productive to remain at Liverpool, outside the Champions League and away from the prospect of growth in his peak, then it would be a formidable scenario for Juventus.
“Suarez needs to fully understand the appeal of the Bianconeri, what Juve have represented, do represent and will represent. They are a huge club and do not need to beg anyone, as great players already dream of going there,” he added.
Liverpool managing director Ian Ayre was forced to publicly announce that Suarez would definitely be staying in England beyond this summer, after comments from the player “were a bit lost in translation”.
The reigning Italian champions look set to secure back-to-back Serie A titles this season, and face Bayern Munich in the Champions League quarter-finals next month as they rebuild with a view to becoming a dominant force in Europe again.
