Reported Manchester United target reaches impressive milestone.
Versatile Dutchman Dirk Kuyt will earn his 100th senior international cap when he plays against Mexico in the last 16 of the 2014 FIFA World Cup this evening.
The 33-year-old, who left Liverpool to join Fenerbahce two years ago, looks set to operate at right wing-back for the Netherlands.
Kuyt has already been in the news today, having been linked with a sensational transfer to Manchester United, who are managed by current Netherlands boss Louis van Gaal.
The Dutch should be exciting going forward, with Wesley Sneijder, Georginio Wijnaldum, Arjen Robben and Robin van Persie all named in their starting XI.
Like the Netherlands, Mexico look likely to play with wing-backs – Paul Aguilar and Miguel Layun.
Netherlands XI: Cillessen, Verhaegh, Vlaar, De Vrij, Blind, Kuyt, De Jong, Sneijder, Wijnaldum, Robben, Van Persie.
Mexico XI: Ochoa, Rodriguez, Moreno, Marquez, Aguilar, Herrera, Salcido, Guardado, Layun, Dos Santos, Peralta.
