Arsenal have reportedly completed the signing of RC Lens rising star Yassin Fortune on a three-year deal – beating bitter rivals Manchester United to the prized teenager.

According to the Metro, Fortune is considered one of the stars of the future in France’s Ligue 1 and has been a regular in the country’s Under-16 international squad.
The Metro praise Fortune’s ability to play “in a more advanced role” than his regular midfield position and has the necessary versatility to succeed at the top of the game.
Whilst it won’t be a signing that Arsenal fans will get too excited about, there’s no doubting Fortune’s immense potential that could yet see him develop into a world class star.
It will be the Gunners first signing of the summer, if true, and potentially the beginning of something of a summer spree with the north Londoners linked with a number of stars in a variety of positions.
In seven appearances for the France U16s, Fortune managed an impressive four goals.
When finalised, it is expected that Fortune will form part of the Arsenal’s youth side next season and not immediately become a part of Arsene Wenger’s first-team plans
