Pedro had been heavily linked with a Premier League move, with The Mirror reporting the trio of Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool were all tracking the 27-year-old winger.
According to the report, the £15m-rated Spanish international has told Barcelona boss Luis Enrique of his desire to remain at the club despite seeing limited playing time in his side’s all-conquering 2014/15 campaign.
Pedro featured in 35 matches for the Blaugrana last season, but 20 of those appearances came from the substitute’s bench.
The Independent on Monday reported Arsenal had begun negotiations with Barcelona over a possible transfer, but it seems the Gunners’ attempts were in vain with the winger now looking to remain at the Nou Camp.
Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-German were also interested in luring Pedro to the French capital, according to The Mirror.
