NFL release 2015 preseason schedule: Green Bay take on Patriots
Patriots RB LeGarrette Blount suspended for marijuana use, will miss 2015 NFL season opener
This was after he had played a vital role in the New England Patriots’ Super Bowl run.
Revis spent only one season with the Patriots before going back to the Jets, and he had previously played a season with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers after being traded by the Jets.
While quarterback Tom Brady and head coach Bill Belichick will be given most of the credit, Revis helped the Patriots defense improve and guide them back to the Super Bowl.
Even though Revis helped bring home a Super Bowl to New England, there are still Patriots fans out there who are angry with the cornerback jumping ship to their most bitter rival.
Revis was attacked by trolls on his Instagram account, and he shot back at them with some harsh responses. Although his account is locked, the comments can be seen on Deadspin.
After these comebacks, Revis took to his Twitter account to claim that his Instagram profile was hacked.
