Fabregas joined Chelsea for a fee of £27m in the summer despite the Gunners having first refusal on him. Arsenal fans were devastated to see another one time hero join their rivals, with players like Samir Nasri, Robin van Persie, and Bacary Sagna all joining Premier League rivals over the last few years.
Chelsea were a solid side last season, but it was clear that there was something missing. As is evident from the opening fixtures of this campaign what was missing was Cesc Fabregas and Diego Costa. The pair have been a revelation for the London side, and if they continue in their current vein of form they could certainly fire Chelsea to the title.
