There’s nothing quite like the experience of seeing Jack Wilshere drunk first-hand. And just about every Arsenal supporter on planet Earth got to share in the experience after the Gunners dominating 4-0 win over Aston Villa in the FA Cup Final.
At Sunday’s trophy parade, in a drunken tirade, Wilshere led the crowd on a foul-mouthed anti-Tottenham Hotspur song, much to the chagrin of the media and our collective delight.
We took a look at what some of the lovely folks on Twitter have been saying about the wild and crazy time the Gunners’ veteran midfielder was having at the Arsenal parade:
For the 2nd season in a row Jack Wilshere’s greatest contribution to Arsenals season is slurring into a microphone like a drunk at a wedding

Ouch! That one’s gotta hurt! But this next one is a sentiment I think we can all agree with:
A drunk Jack Wilshere sings better than Justin Bieber. — Gooner Frog (@GoonerFrog) May 31, 2015
Well said, well said. But some fans didn’t appreciate Wilshere’s disrespect for other clubs (regardless of his diminished mental state at the time):
it’s no wonder no one respects jack wilshere when his best performance of the season is being drunk and slagging off spurs. #overrated

Still others found what happened incredibly funny:
Wilshere is the funniest guy alive. Man was drunk pre-noon and could barely walk on the stage. — Kai (@GoonerBBK) May 31, 2015
But in the end, even Wilshere’s biggest haters would rather have him drunk on the pitch than some of Aston Villa’s so-called “starters”:
I’d rather have a drunk, passionate Wilshere that hates our local rivals over Tom Cleverly & Jordan Henderson anyday. Oh, & he’s better
