Viola targeting January move for Spaniard.
Italian outfit Fiorentina are ready to offer Esteban Granero a way out of his QPR nightmare with a £6m bid for the Spaniard in January, reports the Independent.
Former Hoops’ boss Mark Hughes pulled off a coup by landing the 25-year-old from Real Madrid in August but the Welshman has since been sacked and QPR sit rooted to the foot of the Premier League table having not won a match in 16 attempts.
Granero is one of the highest earners at Loftus Road but has struggled to make an impact and the pass-master has barely featured under new boss Harry Redknapp.
The former Spain under-21 international, who cost Rovers £9m, has a £5.5m release-clause if, as expect, the West Londoners are relegated.
However, Fiorentina are ready to swoop in January and Redknapp will be tempted to accept a decent bid, as he looks to add much-needed reinforcements to the defence and attack.
