Mathieu Debuchy
Given 90 minutes to impress at right back, Mathieu Debuchy’s performance suggested that the France international will have few problems slotting seamlessly into Arsene Wenger’s team following his summer move from Newcastle United.
Debuchy was solid defensively against both Samir Nasri and David Silva, whilst he also offered a sporadic threat when Arsenal moved forward down the right flank.
