Five Gunners who need to impress on international duty.
The Premier League has taken a break after three fixtures, with players currently away on international duty as the qualification campaign for the European Championships in France in 2016 kick off during the coming days.
Arsenal have numerous players away with their countries and, with Arsene Wenger likely to be looking on, they will all be keen to impress, both for the sake of their nations and to cement their place in the Emirates Stadium side once they reconvene for the Premier League.
Here are five Arsenal stars to keep an eye on over the coming days:
Wojciech Szczesny (Poland)
Goalkeeper Wojecich Szczesny’s career has never quite recovered from being sent off in the opening match of Euro 2012 against Greece, on home soil, with even his former Emirates Stadium reserve Lukasz Fabianski having more caps for Poland. With Artur Boruc also having been ahead of Szczesny in the pecking order recently, will their respective standings in the Premier League allow for the Arsenal man to reclaim his place?
