Seemingly more of a regular for Germany than he is at Arsenal, Lukas Podolski remained with the Gunners during the transfer window and will be keen to force his way into Arsene Wenger’s thinking. International duty may well be an opportunity to do so, with Podolski remaining a favourite of Germany boss Joachim Low – he could well make an appearance during this evening’s clash against Scotland in Dortmund.
