Having ruled himself out of the chase for Quintero, Wenger could switch his attentions towards one of his Colombian World Cup teammates – the exciting Juan Cuadrado, who remains at Fiorentina despite persistent rumours suggesting the contrary.
Cuadrado would be a stunning signing for Arsenal, but is likely to be particularly costly and wouldn’t be content with being a rotation option for the Gunners.
