BAD: 3) Hernan Crespo (Chelsea)
Arriving at Chelsea as one of the world’s best strikers, it’s fair to say things didn’t quite work out like that for Hernan Crespo at Stamford Bridge. The Argentine, who had been so prolific in Italy with the likes of Parma, Lazio and Inter Milan, only managed 20 goals in two seasons in the English top flight, looking unconfident and off the pace. Much of his time with Chelsea was spent out on loan back in Milan, and he eventually finished his career in Italy.
