3. Jay Schulz (Port Adelaide)
There’s no doubt that Schulz has been in career-best form in 2014, and it’s been an incredible turnaround considering his career was at the crossroads in 2009.
Unwanted by Richmond, Port Adelaide gave him a second chance at the elite level and he has certainly delivered this season.
53 goals at an accuracy 75% means he has been a key reason why Port were at the summit of the AFL ladder.
His form dip coincided with Port Adelaide’s, but if he can regain his early season form then Schulz could do plenty of damage in September.
