4. Unstoppable Force vs. Immovable Object (Packers Offense vs. Seahawks Defense) – Even with Aaron Rodgers missing for nearly half the season, the Packers still finished 8th in points scored and 3rd in total yards. The Seahawks were slightly less of an offensive juggernaut but combined a dominating run game with the league’s best defense to crush their opponents 16 out of 19 times in 2013. Now the two teams collide when Aaron Rodgers uses his incredible offensive prowess joins forces with Offensive Rookie of the Year Eddie Lacy to see if they can’t crack the seemingly impenetrable armor that is the Seahawks Legion of Boom defense.
3. Battle of Superbowl QBs – A QB duel is one of the epitomes of great football and we may get just that in Thursday’s game. Aaron Rodgers and Russel Wilson have slightly different skill levels but a similar technique: go for the high efficiency throws, and if the play breaks down – run for it. Rodgers and Wilson have been two of the NFL’s best QBs in the last few years and both have a Superbowl plus multiple playoff wins under their belts. While Wilson may not be on par with Manning, Brady or Brees as far as a pure throwing aspect is concerned, whichever QB manages to lead the final scoring drive of this game may ultimately be the winner.
