4. Xherdan Shaqiri – Bayern Munich (And Switzerland) to Liverpool
Shaqiri was lauded as the next bright European talent when he joined Bayern, but has been frustrated by his time in Germany and has struggled to get as much of a foothold in the first team as he had hoped. However, salvation seems to be on the way in the shape of Liverpool, who are eager to add more midfield options to their side and are apparently close to agreeing a fee with the Bundesliga side for his services. Should the move go ahead, he will surely thrive under Brendan Rodgers, who is proving that he has no fear of throwing younger players into his side and entrusting them to fire the club up he table.
