The Divisional Round of the NFL playoffs will begin shortly, and eight teams remain in contention for the Super Bowl.
The Seattle Seahawks and New England Patriots are the favorites to win it all, but there are other teams who are on a mission to prove the experts wrong.
There were no upsets in the Divisional Round last season, but this should never discourage anyone from making bold predictions.
Here are five bold predictions for the upcoming playoff games.
5. C.J. Anderson will rush for over 200 yards against the Indianapolis Colts
The Denver Broncos running back has become more involved in the offense since Montee Ball and Ronnie Hillman went down with injuries, and there’s no reason that the Broncos won’t continue to ride the hot hand as quarterback Peyton Manning has looked rusty since December, where he threw just three touchdowns against six interceptions. Anderson, meanwhile, rushed for 648 yards and eight touchdowns in his last six games.
In the last game the Colts were eliminated from the playoffs, they let New England Patriots running back LeGarrette Blount steamroll them for 166 yards and four rushing touchdowns. The Colts run defense will be tested against Anderson. Look for him to officially establish himself as the Broncos starting running back in a Blount-like performance.
